Sales Director Simon Frost leads the team, which now fields eight staff members thanks to the new additions. We’re bringing the word to garages and bodyshops.” New Business Development Executive for Autoelectro John Cosgrove has joined Autoelectro as its new Business Development Executive. Earlier in his career, he was Purchasing Manager at AMK Automotive Components, before taking on roles beyond the aftermarket. Commenting on his new role back in the fold, John said. “One of my goals is to work alongside our customers, to grow and expand on the awareness of the products and services we offer. I will be visiting them, informing them of the depth of our range and offers, and act as a proud brand ambassador at industry events.” He added: “Autoelectro is a business that I was very much aware of previously and admired whilst working in the automotive aftermarket. Commenting on Sue’s appointment, IAAF Chief Executive Mark Field said: “Having someone so enthusiastic and knowledgeable in the role will galvanise the Federation to help us carve out a recognisable identity for CV, with new, dedicated and regular communications to the wider aftermarket on CV activity, and gathering of further market intelligence so we can advocate for the sector’s needs.” Sue added: “I’ve been part of the IAAF CV committee for some time examining how the forum is led and developed. Together with Mark Field, we have tabled several topics affecting the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket, and will work with suppliers, distributors, and end users to addresses these challenges head-on.” New ASM for Ring/OSRAM Ring Automotive has appointed Scott Colquhoun as Area Sales Manager for its Special Division, encompassing both the Ring and OSRAM brands. Prior to his new position, Scott was Business Development Manager for LED Autolamps and 24/7 Lighting. He said: “I had eight-and-a-half very successful years in automotive lighting previously, and I see this as a fantastic opportunity to pick an even bigger ball up and run with it. The company has fantastic brand recognition, I work with a great team and I love the fact that I’m helping develop the OSRAM and Ring brands into specialist and new markets. It makes my job very exciting.”
