NEWS In association with: The winner and runner-up for Top Technician 2023, and the winners in Top Garage 2023 have been announced, following the finals for both competitions which were held on Saturday 14 October at Delphi Academy in Warwickshire. George Bettley from Crewe SEAT in Cheshire is 2023’s Top Technician champion. Meanwhile, David Weston from KIA UK in Surrey came in second. The announcement was made at the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Evening, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Coventry later that evening. George was presented with his award by Snap-on, and won a major cash prize from Aftermarket magazine, and a mix of tools and training from Snap-on, TOPDON, TechMan, Delphi, BookMyGarage, ALLDATA Europe, TPS and MOTUL. As runner-up, David also received a cash prize from Aftermarket, as well as prizes from the sponsors. The winners of Top Garage, including the winner of Top Service Adviser, and the first ever winner of the brand-new Ben Workplace Health and Wellbeing award, were also announced. They were as follows: Business with 1-3 employees: Presented by Delphi Drive Green Motor Services, Suffolk Business with 4-6 employees: Presented by TOPDON Links Automotive, Cheshire Business with 7 -9 employees: Presented by MOTUL Cleevely Motors, Cheltenham Businesses with 10-plus employees: Presented by TPS Oldfields Garage Services, Herefordshire Multi-site: Presented by ALLDATA Europe Shaikly Motor Company, Essex Alongside the main Top Garage classes, a number of staff members from garages competed to be named the winner as Top Service Advisor.
