Ivor Searle adds Ford EcoBoost engine Ivor Searle has added the 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine used in the Ford Focus and EcoSport to its range of remanufactured units. The three pumps can be used to replace all current coolant pumps in Tesla vehicles. 14 different pumps are currently used across the current 3, S, X and Y models. Meanwhile, up to five electric coolant pumps are installed in earlier Tesla vehicles, depending on the model and equipment. Two of the pumps replace them. Tesla's more recent vehicles each use two pumps in one distribution tank, which, combined with a coolant control valve forms a heat pump. Both can be replaced with the third Pierburg pump. The three pumps from Pierburg provide a replacement solution for around 11.5 million pumps currently installed in around 4.5 million Teslas worldwide. Overall, Shaftec offers a caliper programme of more than 5,300-part numbers, including both new and remanufactured parts, painted calipers, and Electric Parking Brake (ECB) calipers.
