As we went to press, the semi final for Top Technician 2019 was just days away. We wished the best of luck to the 10 techs that would be testing themselves at Auto iQ on Thursday 25 April. From this group, the final five will emerge who will be in the final at the RMI Academy of Skills in Southam on Saturday 22 June. The final of Top Garage will also be held that day at the same venue. As you read this, the semi finalists in Top Garage will be completing their various tasks to see who will be there. Keep an eye on www.aftermarketonline.net and www.toptechnicianonline.co.uk to see who the finalists are. This will be announced as this issue hits your doormat. At the time of writing, no one yet knew which techs and businesses would be the finalists, but we did know that they will be at the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Dinner 2019. It will be the place to be, and you will want to be there too. Places selling fast, so why not secure your place now? Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Dinner 2019 The Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Dinner 2019 is being held at the Jurys Inn Milton Keynes. The awards portion of the event will be hosted by TV presenter and journalist Helen Fospero. She will introduce the sponsors, who will then present the winner and runner up of Top Technician and winners of the various awards within Top Garage with their prizes. This promises to be a fantastic conclusion to the year’s events, as well as a great evening in its own right. The UKs leading garages will be in attendance, as well as many key sector suppliers, making it a great networking opportunity. Individual places cost £70. A table of 10 can be booked for £650.
