42 AFTERMARKET JUNE 2018 AUTOMECHANIKA BIRMINGHAM 2019 www.aftermarketonline.net ECOBAT Stand: H154 ECOBAT Battery Technologies (EBT), formerly Manbat, is using its stand in Hall 20, as well as the event’s Workshop Training Hub, to publicise ONE BOX, its all-in- one Stop/Start battery analysis and replacement solution. Research undertaken by the company has found that just 57% of independent garages fit Stop/Start batteries. According to EBT, this number of workshops fitting AGM and EFB batteries indicates one of two things. Either the garage is not aware, or they assume that fitting Stop/Start batteries is too complicated and costly. Automechanika Birmingham provides the company with a platform from which to launch its ONE BOX initiative and it will be demonstrating the need they perceive for it in the marketplace and how they believe it fulfils that need, on their stand. www.ecobat.tech ACtronics Stand: Z168 ACtronics will be back for their third year in a row at Automechanika Birmingham. Their stand is in Hall 18, next to the Workshop Training Hub. As in previous years, ACtronics are bringing their own style to the show, making their stand definitely one you want to see. To the beat of the music being played on the stand, you will be able to see instrument clusters and throttle bodies working as they would on a vehicle. You will find a wide variety of units the company can test and remanufacture on display, alongside members of the customer service team who will be on hand to help with any queries. ACtronics will also be sponsoring the Workshop Training Hub, where its COO Thijs Jasink will be giving technical talks about the company. www.actronics.com
