In this newly created role, Julian will be enhancing the technical support the GEA offers to its members. He will also be assisting GEA Chief Executive Dave Garratt in the day-to-day running of the association and on the equipment approval process. For 32 years, Julian was Technical Quality, Safety and Under Vehicle Product Manager at Snap-on. He was also President of the GEA between 2016 and 2018, and an active member of many of the GEA Technical working groups and council. Commenting on his new role, Julian said: “I am bringing industry knowledge and experience to the association for GEA members to call on when needed.” www.aftermarketonline.net New President and COO at The Parts Alliance Neil Croxson, Chief Financial Officer at The Parts Alliance has been promoted to become its President and Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Peter Sephton who will be retiring after ensuring an orderly transition over a three-month period. Neil Croxson joined The Parts Alliance as CFO in 2015. He has worked in close collaboration with Peter Sephton to deliver the group’s financial strategy and increase market coverage in the U.K. and Ireland. “I am honoured to be taking on this new role,” said Neil Croxson. “We had an excellent performance during our first full- year under the Uni-Select umbrella, and under Peter’s leadership, we implemented strong foundations to enable us to capture future market opportunities.
