SEPTEMBER 2019 AFTERMARKET 55 PRODUCTS www.aftermarketonline.net DENSO lambda sensors DENSO lambda sensors, part of its engine management system range, first came to prominence in 1978 and are used by both European and Asian vehicle manufacturers as well as within the aftermarket. The company’s lambda sensors became popular with European VMs when ECU manufacturers took a different approach to the specifications of their control units, allowing flexible sourcing of oxygen sensors. As a result of its ties with Ford, DENSO became a supplier to Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover. Those VMs have continued to rely on DENSO’s components long after Ford sold on those brands. DENSO now has partnerships with Renault-Nissan, GM, Ford, Fiat-Chrysler and supplies lambda sensors for many European-built models produced by Asian manufacturers. www.denso-am.co.uk New to range: febi febi has introduced more parts into its ranges.
