It is the UK’s largest provider of MOT training with MOT tester courses running every week at sites across the UK. This issue, we are highlighting their MOT Tester training for class 4 & 7 vehicles. The course is suitable for any organisation in the UK selling cars, second-hand or new, regardless of whether they are accredited to The Motor Ombudsman, and takes around 30 minutes to complete. Tuition covers the following areas: Definition of a distance sales contract and relevant legislation Increased rights of consumers during distance sale Obligations to be met by businesses Significance of consumer deposit when paying for a car remotely The module ends with a short test and participants receive a handy downloadable checklist to help determine whether or not a sale can be classified as at a distance.
