The online training sessions will provide hands-on tips, ahead of the busy A/C season. In the webinars, DENSO’s Richard Groot will cover all aspects of air conditioning and thermal management systems, including common failures, with the intention of arming technicians with the necessary information to improve best practice techniques, ensure accurate diagnosis and learn about the latest technological and environmental innovations. Participants will be able to take part in a Q&A. Fatiha Laauich, DENSO Europe Pan European Strategic Marketing Manager, said: “Webinars have become an integral part of DENSO’s training strategy to keep sharing information, tips and developing the skills of UK garages in these difficult times.” She added: “We are particularly excited about our offering to online attendees with Richard Groot representing us. He is a specialist in his field, and I am sure delegates will be glued to his every word, as he aims to improve understanding and futureproof workshops.” The webinars are free and available to book online on www.denso- am.co.uk Melett turbo tips continue An ongoing series of educational technical videos from Melett is continuing to expand, with more tutorials on common turbocharger failures being made available. The latest videos are entitled, 'How does overspeeding cause turbocharger failure' and 'How does foreign object damage cause turbocharger failure'. As well as explaining the cause of failure, they also provide advice on how to prevent future issues. All videos currently released are available to view via Melett’s website at www.melett.com/video/ and via its YouTube channel, with more on the way. Hella Gutmann Solutions (HGS) has released a video showcasing the company’s ADAS tool range and how the kit links together to allow technicians to perform calibration across the whole vehicle. The products featured include the original front-facing CSC-Tool, Rear Cam Kit I, Rear Cam Kit II – Side, Radar Kit III and the mega macs 77diagnostic tool, which along with every HGS mega macs model. The five-minute video demonstrates how HGS solutions required for front, side and rear ADAS calibration can be set up and correctly performed.
