Sponsored by: F ollowing on from previous years, thousands of businesses are expected to take part. Those who go through the various rounds will face a number of online tasks, which culminate in a live final on Saturday 9 October 2021. As we explained in the last issue of Aftermarket, as a result of COVID-19, this year’s Top Garage 2020 will be merged with Top Garage 2021. Those who have already reached the latter stages of the 2020 are already in the running for Top Garage 2021, but for those who did not sign up for 2020, now is the time to throw your hat in the ring to potentially be a winner in next year’s blended contest. As in previous years, so businesses are able to compete against others operating at a similar scale, Top Garage 2021 will again be running a number of categories, based on the number of employees: Businesses with 1-3 staff Businesses with 4-6 staff Businesses with 7-9 staff Businesses with 10-plus staff Taking part in Top Garage enables you to work with some of the best minds in the sector who are the judges in the competition, including Top Garage Head Judge, The Garage Inspector, himself, Andy Savva. It also gives you the chance to win some brilliant prizes, and puts you on the national stage as well. If you enter, it could be you receiving an award, and the applause of the best in the industry at the Top Technician and Top Garage Awards Evening 2020 on Saturday 9 October next year. As before, this will be held at the Jurys Inn Milton Keynes. More details on the event will be made available very soon, and a certain garage “Guru” will be the main speaker. Entering Top Garage 2021 Entering could not be simpler. On Sunday 1 November, go to www.toptechnicianonline.co.uk and click on the ‘take the quiz’ tab. Then follow the instructions, using use the Top Garage 2021 voucher code: tg#21#rd1 The code will be live until Thursday 31 December, giving you two months to compete the first round. Remember, if you are still an active participant from Top Garage 2020, you will automatically be carried over to the latter stages, so you can relax, for a few months. You might want to get ready for next spring though.
