New production techniques for Diamond Precision quartz glass were employed, resulting in more light output within regulation limits. As a result, Philips RacingVision GT200 headlight bulbs are ECE homologated, approved for use on public roads. A push-button quickly releases the tyre valve, while a 360° swivel motion design makes tyre inflation easier on modern vehicles with larger alloy/steel wheels, as well as more intricate designs that make the valves more difficult to access.
