APRIL 2021 AFTERMARKET 57 EYEBROW Gates has named Josef Parzhuber as President, EMEA. Prior to joining Gates, he was President and General Manager at Mann+Hummel. Commenting on the appointment, Grant Gawronski, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Gates said: “Josef brings a wealth of global experience to the team, having successfully served in senior leadership roles for more than a decade while having a deep understanding of all facets of business, including sales and product marketing. He joins with a solid and strong team already in place to take advantage of EMEA market opportunities.” EMEA President for Gates PCL: New Senior Buyer PCL has brought Aaron Williams on board as Senior Buyer. He joins PCL following roles at Anixter, the global distributor of network and security, electrical, electronic and utility power solutions and Victor Marine, specialists in the design and manufacture of tank washing machines, gas freeing fans and oily water separators. Commenting on the appointment, PCL’s Finance Director Roz Shepherd said: “Joining in the midst of a pandemic is a challenge, but Aaron has quickly got to grips with our operations and we are confident he has the expertise to get the supply chain working harder for us, bringing benefits for both PCL and our customers that will be especially welcome during these difficult times.” Melett has promoted Head of Sales Darren Johnson to the position of Group Sales Director.
