NEWS Eurorepar completes ‘three ways’ via Service Plan MONTH 2017 AFTERMARKET 5 www.aftermarketonline.net Eurorepar Car Service (ERCS) has launched a new Service Plan payment option that allows customers to spread the cost of their next two services and MOTs using direct debit payments. The ERCS Service Plan also incentivises garages by offering £20 for every plan sold. The Service Plan can be purchased by customers at any participating ERCS centre. To support use of the system, ERCS’ Service Plan partner, EMaC, will be hosting online training to ensure that ERCS centres get the most out of the initiative. Nick Taylor, Head of Network and Business Development for Eurorepar Car Service, said “Customers of ERCS now have three ways to pay, and this flexibility will help drive footfall to our garages and improve customer retention.” APRIL 20 1 AFTERMARKET 7 Follow us on Facebook @aftermarketmagazine IAAF’s Wendy Williamson to retire IAAF Chief Executive Wendy Williamson has announced she will be retiring in August. She has worked in the automotive aftermarket for over 30 years, having spent much of her career in roles at Unipart. She went on to lead the SMMT’s aftermarket section, before joining the IAAF in 2014. Commenting on the news, Wendy said: “I am so proud of what the IAAF has achieved in the past seven years and this is due to the collective effort of members and the Federation, working together and striving towards the same goals. I would obviously like to thank everyone, the IAAF team of Mike, Ann and Tina, the board, IAAF council and wider membership for all their support.” The IAAF’s recently-elected President Richard Welland added: “Wendy has been instrumental in the modernisation of the IAAF so that it remains relevant to our fast-paced industry. She has widened the IAAF’s appeal and reach, while at the same time consolidating its position as the voice of the aftermarket. She will be very much missed, but we wish her all the best in her well- earned retirement.” automotive software d Business m and reporting proce Integrate your sale aftermarke esigned for anagement sses in one easy-to-u nt, s. stock manageme t the se package. accounting 109 226 352 10 .mamsoft.co.uk/a w ww u topart MOT demand unclear 73% of garages are expecting MOT volumes in March and September to be equal or lower than the during the same periods last year, according to a survey performed by The Motor Ombudsman.
