Marc Perkins, formerly Castrol’s UK Sales Manager, is taking on the new role and will oversee implementation of a new integrated channel sales strategy. In the independent sector, Castrol has set out an objective to become the market leader in branded workshops. At present 90 independent workshops in the UK and Ireland carry ‘Castrol Workshop’ branding. Castrol is also looking to expanding its portfolio of support programmes for dealerships and their aftersales departments as they emerge from lockdown. For the consumer retail sales channel, Castrol plans to further grow its presence within grocery outlets and in fuel station forecourts, attracting more customers with global marketing and sponsorship activities. Commenting on the new role and strategy, Omer Dormen, VP Castrol EMEA at Castrol observed: “Marc is ideally suited to this new role, having worked with Castrol for over nine years, during which time he has played a very active part in driving our diverse channel sales strategies,” said. Oliver previously spent 19 years with ZF Friedrichshafen, most recently serving as Head of Global Strategy Commercial Vehicles. On his new appointment, Richard said: “I am truly honoured to be elected President and believe the IAAF represents the very best of our industry.
