Yves has been with Faurecia since 2007, and began his automotive career in 2005 at ZF. On his new position, Yves said: "HELLA is a pioneer in automotive lighting technology. That's why I'm looking forward to continuing to set trends in this field together with the global HELLA lighting team and to making tomorrow's mobility even safer, more comfortable and more sustainable based on innovative lighting solutions." New Regional Sales Manager Motor finance business CarMoney has appointed Owain Thompson, as its new Regional Sales Manager (North East). He has eight years’ experience in the automotive sector. Immediately prior to his new role, Owain worked at Vertu Motors. Owain said: “I have lots to offer with my experience and extensive knowledge of the motor finance industry. CarMoney’s ethos and culture really attracted me to the role.” CarMoney MD Alastair Grier added: “We warmly welcome Owain to our growing UK- wide team of automotive sector professionals. He will strengthen existing relationships with our dealer network, while also identifying and recruiting new dealers and introducers throughout the North East to come onboard and work with CarMoney.” New CEO at GiPA Group Automotive aftermarket intelligence provider GiPA Group has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer. Almudena Benedito has been named as the new CEO, replacing Eric Devos, who remains GiPA Group President. Immediately prior to joining GiPA, Almudena was EMEA Marketing Director at Tenneco/Federal-Mogul, a role she had held since 2012. She also held multiple positions at Delphi Technologies and Matra Automobile. She started her career at Bosch in 1994. Commenting on her appointment, Eric Devos said: “Almudena has over 25 years’ experience in the automotive market both from the IAM and OEM side. Her deep knowledge of distribution channels and their needs will help us to innovate in our product portfolio to better serve our customers in the Aftermarket globally. “Her skills in sales, marketing and communication in B2B2C, as well as her experience in multinational companies and multicultural environments will certainly help GiPA in becoming a more innovative and agile company while enhancing and preserving the GiPA values.” Welcome to Aftermarket’s new appointments section.
