Its user-friendly software and on-screen graphics allow the technician to get on with the job quickly and, considering it can be used on several workshop stations, get on with the job efficiently. “EUROSYSTEM configures a test report, including all the measurement and evaluation results of the tests performed, onto one single print-out. Ultimately, EUROSYSTEM turns MAHA UK’s brake testers into futureproof workshop test and diagnostics platforms, making life easier for the user.” On MAHA UK’s relationship with the GEA, Nick observed: “The criteria for meeting DVSA specification is becoming more stringent; therefore, MAHA UK needs to stay on top of its game to ensure everything required to be ‘green coded’ – equipment that is current and fully compatible for use in MOT sites – is met, like up-to-date technical requirements, calibration, level of instruction manual and identification. The GEA upholds industry standards by handling the approval process on behalf of the DVSA, and MAHA UK is in regular dialogue with the GEA to help maintain its own standards and, therefore, offer the best equipment and service to workshops.” For a list of approved DVSA roller brake testers, visit www.gea.co.uk Streamline and enhance On the digital front, MAM Software’s latest update of its Autowork Online cloud-based garage management software includes a number of new and improved features according to Product manager Chris Daniel: “The recent update includes many user enhancements for the TeamView companion application and a brand-new technician time reporting suite. The latest release adds an improved Electronic Vehicle Health Check (eVHC) and damage inspection feature to Teamview and inspections can now be carried out from the same devices. Designed for phones, tablets and PC, the TeamView inspection features works seamlessly with the existing AutoWork Online processes alongside the paperless job card in a single app. The new and improved TeamView features are now included as standard for new and existing users for no additional cost, for up to 4 technicians on unlimited devices. “The Deferred Work feature is now even easier to use. Deferred work is an excellent way to recover previously recommended work and integrates directly into the reports created from an eVHC. Each process within the garage or workshop environment can be enhanced using AutoWork Online and TeamView, utilising eVHC, deferred work, the suggested jobs feature and the automatic SMS reminder service.” Chris added: “This latest version contains a series of new features that have been developed to streamline processes, enhance customer service and deliver greater efficiencies. This is just the first step in our plan to streamline and support the customer decision making process with a fully integrated inspection and estimate approval workflow. The enhancements in this release, including changes to make suggested jobs and deferred work easier to use more than ever before, will help garages convert, upsell and recover more of the profitable work they want to do, when they want it, with minimum effort. Combined with what we have planned our aim is to help our users compete successfully in the rapidly modernising aftermarket.” Autowork Online users will receive notifications from MAM Software when their system has been updated.
