Commenting on James Hind’s new role, Bumper’s CEO and co-founder James Jackson said: “As an entrepreneur James is highly regarded across the automotive sector having grown carwow from a small start-up to an international business with over 400 employees and £5bn of car sales through it in 2021 alone, so we’re thrilled to have him on board.” James Hind said: “I’ll be supporting the management team as they grow its operations and offerings in the UK and across Europe. I’ve followed Bumper’s rapid rise with keen interest and look forward to working with the business to assist the next phase of its growth,” he said. Bumper also recently named Francisca Gutierrez as its new Chief Product Officer, Paul Edgecombe as Chief Compliance Officer, Matt Williams as Chief Growth Officer and Leah Ellis as Interim Chief People Officer. MOTUL UK ‘Has’ new Technical Specialist Hasan ‘Has’ Tahir has been named as the Motul UK Technical Specialist, Has joined MOTUL UK from Total Energies, where he was a Product Engineer. Before that he was with the JTEKT Group’s Koyo Bearings brand. Commenting on the new appointment, Motul UK Country Manager Callum Goodland said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Has on board at Motul UK. He adds another key string to our bow and has joined Motul at a very exciting time, as we develop our UK and Irish business. Ian worked at First Line for 11 years, ultimately becoming UK Sales Director. Before that, he was at Quinton Hazell for 12 years. Commenting on his new role, Ian said: “Joining one of the big global players is a very exciting opportunity, as HELLA offers an insight into the future of the aftermarket through its focus on new technologies developed and supplied as OE to vehicle manufacturers around the world and subsequently, its ability to support the independent service and repair sector over the long term.” HELLA Managing Director Neil Grant added: “I am delighted that we have secured the services of an aftermarket sales director of Ian’s calibre.
