A recent GiPA study suggested that 44% of garages are still unable to work on plug-in vehicles. While this means 56% of garages are able to cover EVs, in reality 41% are only offering limited EV services at best. Eurorepar Car Service General Manager Nick Taylor said it is important for garages to make the investment in the segment, to make 2023 the year of the EV: “Understandably, many independent garages have been biding their time before investing in the necessary skills, training and equipment to maintain EVs.
