Top Technician and Top Garage 2023 were huge successes with mechanics and businesses of all shapes and sizes. 2024 is set to be even bigger, with new business types being recognised in the latter in a new development for 2024. As always, thousands of techs took part in Top Technician in 2023, with that number being gradually refined towards the 10 who would take part in the semi-final. As a result, 10 then became five for the final. From here, we found the winner in the form of competition neophyte George Bettley with longer-term participant David Weston as runner-up. With 2024 upon us, one of you reading this will see your name on the equivalent article we run here next year. For Top Garage, hundreds of businesses will again enter to see if they will be identified as the best of their size and shape in the UK. Last year, following the online rounds, the businesses found themselves in front of the judges, with five being named as Top Garage, in their respective classes along with Top Service Advisor, and the inaugural Ben Workplace Health and Wellbeing Award.
