Servo motion specialist Wittenstein will be demonstrating items from its portfolio which includes precision gearboxes, couplings, rack-and-pinion systems, cyber motors and linear/rotary actuators. Another familiar name returning for Southern 2020 is the polymer specialist, igus , which will be highlighting its ranges of energy chains, bearings, linear guides, flexible cables, stock bar and stock plate materials. Nexus Industrial Memory will be promoting its Datakey range of rugged portable data carriers that help engineers to design embedded systems to keep their data safer and more secure. Its devices are said to remove the threats posed by standard USB Sticks and SD cards. Highlighting its wide range of industrial automation and control products will be IMO Precision Controls . Other component vendors at the show will include Easby Electronics , WDS Component Parts and Wurth Industrie UK . HTK Europe distributes the HTK (Honda) range of connectors in Europe, along with UK-manufactured cable harnesses and associated assemblies, including machine tool, control panel and machine vision systems. Visitors to Southern Manufacturing will also be able to source bespoke components such as wiring harnesses and custom-built power transmission systems. Wiring specialists at the show include iDaC Solutions , which specialises in high-performance data and control cabling systems for industrial environments and enterprise networks. Offshore sub-contractors exhibiting this year include Volburg SIA , a Latvian contract electronics manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience in Scandinavia, Germany and the UK. The Farnborough venue offers free car parking for 3,500 vehicles and is well-served by road and public transport links. A regular free shuttle bus service will operate from both of Farnborough’s mainline railway stations directly to the exhibition.
