71 www.drivesncontrols.com March 2020 NEW PRODUCTS n Fluke has introduced a thermal imaging camera that blends visible and infrared images to help to pinpoint problems. The Fluke TiS60+ has an easy-to-use fixed-focus arrangement and is said to be ideal for users who are new to thermal imaging. The camera produces 320 x 240 resolution images on a 3.5” LCD screen, allowing small temperature differences to be captured from further away. The IP54-protected camera is designed to withstand a 2m drop and can be used in temperatures from –20°C to +400°C. Its battery provides more than five hours of continuous use. A sleep mode conserves the battery life between inspections. Pressing the power button gets the camera running again. IR Photo Notes give the operator a simple way to add pictures associated with the image, documenting the equipment or room associated with the thermal image. This allows images to be added quickly to orders. PC software that comes with the camera allows users to record and share thermal images in real time via smartphones or tablets, and to upload them to the cloud. The software can also help to create reports quickly. The FlexPro drives, from US-based Advanced Motion Controls, use AMC’s Impact (Integrated Motion Platform And Control Technology) architecture which results in high performance and power densities without needing an external controller. They can power brushed, brushless, stepper or linear motors The 38.1 x 25.4 x 16mm servodrives run on 10-55V DC, communicate over EtherCat, and support incremental encoder and BISS C-Mode feedback. They offer current ratings of 5, 10 and 25A, with peak currents of 10, 20 and 50A. The drives can be used in a standalone mode or soldered to a board for test and configuration purposes. They are designed to operate in a network, but can also operate via stored indexes and sequences with I/O. The Size 21 T7X resolvers are available for 4–10kHz applications and will operate at angular speeds up to 20,000 rpm The resolvers are available in most popular hollow-shaft diameters and take up little space. Angular accuracies range from standard ±08 or ±10 arc-min to precision ±04 arc-min versions. Different electrical versions are available to support most servodrives. The resolvers can be used in extreme environmental conditions in temperatures from –55°C to +150°C. Besides pre-assembled towers, the RS Pro range includes individual LED light elements, sounders and pre-wired tower bases that users can assemble themselves. The signal towers include “elliptical”, dome-shaped and cylindrical variants. Supplied with two (red and green) or three (red, amber and green) LED light modules, they are quick to install on 100, 70 or 50mm diameter bases. Pre- wiring makes it easy to map colours to functions and to switch the signal outputs of individual modules. Light element options include steady or flashing settings and other effects. The pre-assembled signal tower modules can be disassembled and reassembled quickly – to add or exchange LED modules, for example – without needing tools or disconnecting the power supply. All are ingress-protected to IP66. The lighting elements are available with blue, amber, red, green, yellow or clear LEDs. Also available are piezoelectric acoustic alarmmodules which provide up to 16 continuous or intermittent sound output options, and red LEDwarning bars. The pre-wired bases have seven contacts, allowing each to support up to seven LED modules or six LEDs and a sounder. The electrical connections are made safely via IP20 touch-proof connectors. Mounting accessories include surface-mount bases for flat surfaces, wall-mounting brackets and extension poles of various lengths. Supply voltages are 12– 24V AC/DC and 120/240V AC.
