Visual menus help users to find the optimal motorised leadscrew actuator, or rotating screw or nut configuration for their application. The process typically takes less than five minutes and yields a list of actuators for which they can download 3D CAD models, or access PDFs of product features, benefits and specifications. When launched, the app focused on NSK’s super-precision bearings for machine tools. It checks whether a product is fake by reading a 2D barcode printed on the bearing box and checking it against a database. The extended app covers NSK’s large tapered and cylindrical roller bearings, as well as its giant bearings, including spherical roller, ball, cylindrical roller and tapered roller types, thrust bearings and parts. There is also a new supplement to the company’s 2020 catalogue, listing products added during 2019/2020, including quarter-turns for quick-fit assembly without tools, compression latches for vibration resistance, quarter-turns for hygienic areas, plugs, covers and handles. The catalogue offers detailed product information and tables, as well as engineering section that includes guidance on materials and components, as well as calibration, functional testing, and information on duplex bearings.
