This new role will see Burke take responsibilities for Primary Fluid Power Systems in Liverpool, Branch Hydraulics in Gloucester as well as TSL, Lubemec, the newly formed Flow Connect and the on-site service business. Under this new division the business will operate independently and as a cohesive team in order to provide complete fluid power solutions to customers across the UK and Europe. Burke has over 25 years’ experience in the fluid power industry and has a strong background in finance and operations. Having been with Flowtech Fluid Power since its inception in 2014 and prior to this enjoyed 15 years at Primary Fluid Power, including 2 years as general New director at Flowtech Fluid Power Linde Hydraulics announces new director products & markets Magnus Stegmann has been appointed director products & markets at the technology company Linde Hydraulics. In his function, he is globally responsible for the product management, business development and marketing & corporate communications of the international manufacturer of drive systems consisting of hydraulics, power transmissions and electronics. Stegmann has been successfully working for Linde Hydraulics and KION in various functions for several years. For the past year and a half, he has held a leading position in international sales with focus on the region APAC. Stegmann has gained profound experiences in product management, sales, marketing and project management. As director products & markets he reports to Janfried A Tirre, member of the Linde Hydraulics Management Board and executive vice president sales & marketing. Stegmann takes over the role of Tobias Simmendinger, who has left the company to take up a new challenge. Bürkert Fluid Control Systems has welcomed a new account manager for the Midlands region, with the appointment of Thomas Steele to the position. Steele will be working directly with Bürkert customers, drawing on his innate experience and Bürkert’s huge capability in process and measurement control to specify optimum solutions for end user applications. Steele brings much experience to the Bürkert team. With expertise in specifying products for manufacturers of burners, boilers, furnaces and space heating, he offers an extensive track record in the gas industry. Furthermore, experience as a sales manager for steam applications and general process valves ensures his background is in confluence with Bürkert’s business as a whole. Steele commented: “I hope that my knowledge of valves in industrial environments will help to expand the portfolio of Bürkert products in the Midlands. Hopefully, we can break new ground for Bürkert by seizing market opportunities and expanding into new sectors, as well as building on the inherent success we currently enjoy in traditional markets as a first-choice project partner.” Neil Saunders, UK general manager at Bürkert added: “It’s exciting to welcome Thomas to our account management team. Prior experience is incredibly important in the demanding markets we serve, and Thomas offers plenty of that. More recently, Burke has returned to lead Primary Fluid Power systems division in 2018, which has gone from strength to strength. As a result, Primary Fluid Power has seen it largest growth for over 10 years.
