Lee Products At Offshore Europe 2019, Lee Products will be launching the 12th edition of the new Lee Technical Hydraulic Handbook, which now contains all of the latest products. The company will also be exhibiting its range of miniature high- pressure hydraulic components comprising Lee Plugs, restrictors, check valves, relief valves, shuttle valves, flow controls, filter screens and piloting solenoid valves. Three recently introduced products continue to find new applications in the oil tool industry: The miniature solenoid valves are setting new standards in reducing space, weight and power consumption. These new valves incorporate the patented Lee Multiseal which eliminates the need for O rings, thus reducing machining and radically simplifying port layout by allowing two ports to be sealed on the same centreline. In addition to the familiar Lee Plug, a range of threaded plugs is available called AFO (Axial Force Only) plugs. AFO plugs are designed to be both removable and reusable and are ideally suited for offshore oil industry applications where a leak-tight, high pressure, high temperature seal is required. The plugs are available in sizes from .190 to .750” with UNF threads and a range made from MP35N to comply with NACE standard MRO175 is also available. A further development of the AFO plug now incorporates an O ring for additional sealing, thus providing dual sealing. This plug is primarily designed to safely vent high pressure gas or oil from a tool. Details will also be available of a similar new NACE-compliant AFO plug with dual back up rings which can withstand much higher pressures in the open condition and can thus be used for pressure equalisation functions, typically found in Blow Out Preventers and other devices. MP Filtri MP Filtri will be showcasing a wide range of contamination monitoring and hydraulic filtration products designed for the offshore oil & gas sector. The company will be putting the spotlight on its new LPA3 portable particle counter, created to deliver a comprehensive hydraulic health check in the field. Weighing in at just 10kg, the unit is perfectly portable, features a high- resolution 10.1” touchscreen display, high-speed sample times, a simple to master yet sophisticated software that ensures pro-active maintenance and live trend analysis. Measuring and displaying all major international standard formats, the LPA3 can stores up to 4000 test results and works all day on a single battery charge. Other products include: a comprehensive choice of high- pressure and stainless-steel filters, an Inline contamination monitor for hazardous zones, and new clogging indicators. Nero This will be the first time Nero will be showcasing its products at Offshore Europe and will be promoting the company as the sole UK distributor of Fd- Lok instrumentation fittings. FD-Lok is a manufacturer of twin ferrule compression, pipe fittings, high pressure ball valves, instrumentation fittings and various high- and low-pressure instrumentation valves. Nero products are widely used in many fluid systems for industries which include oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, shipbuilding, machinery and analytical instrumentation. The appointment as the official distributors enables Nero to better serve customers with the range of products available and also the confidence in knowing Nero has the support and backing of FD-Lok. Parker Hannifin Parker Hannifin, the motion and control technologies solutions provider, will be demonstrating its latest products and system solutions that help drive increased productivity and profitability in the oil & gas industry at this year’s Offshore Europe.
