NEWS Elgi Equipments, the air-compressor manufacturer with 2 million installations across 100 countries, has opened its new European headquarters in Belgium. Situated at Drève Richelle 167, 1410 Waterloo, (Brussels – the nerve center of Europe), and spread over 400+ sq meters, the workplace will house over 20 people and feature training rooms and offices designed to build collaboration and foster innovation, in line with the ELGi values that form the backbone of our culture worldwide. Additionally, customer increased air quality standards have enforced the use of ‘Class Zero’ compressed air in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and other sensitive industries. Located in Slangerup 30km northwest of Copenhagen and in Vildbjerg in Jutland, Trio Trykluft has forged a strong reputation across many industry sectors over the 24 years since it was established. Trio Trykluft specialises in the supply of compressed air equipment and generators for nitrogen all of which are supported by a nationwide service, maintenance, installation and design consultancy facilities. By providing both products and design consultancy services, Trio Trykluft enables users of compressed air systems and gas generators to access a single source for all their requirements. The company has also strong niche position in the fast-growing nitrogen generation market. Strengthened service offering Announcing this significant development in Denmark, Søren Weihrauch, AxFlow A/S managing director, commented: “This acquisition strengthens AxFlow’s service offering in Denmark, which is in line with our overall growth strategy. AxFlow Denmark already has a strong market presence with pumps and compressor sales in the same sectors as Trio Trykluft, which can be attributed to AxFlow Denmark taking over Gardner Denver vacuum pump/compressor sales and service back in 2014. Acquiring Trio Trykluft will considerably complement and strengthen AxFlow Denmark’s compressor and service activity and make it an even better fit, giving customers a comprehensive service.” AxFlow’s product offering comprises pumps, filters, UV systems, compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers and mixers. Trio Trykluft will give AxFlow Denmark a very strong market position. Due to better market coverage and shorter distances between customers and service engineers there will be improved service efficiency for all customers in the food, laboratory, pharmaceutical and water and wastewater sectors.
