Thank you and many congratulations Nigel, from the BFPA and the fluid power industry.” In its ongoing efforts to raise standards in the industry, the BFPA has created a new range of “DO NOT RE-END HOSE” point of sale material for members of its Approved Hose Assembly Scheme. The move is one of several new initiatives first introduced in 2019 to improve the BFPA Approved Hose Assembly Scheme and aims to get the message across that re-ending hose is a dangerous practice and should not happen. Posters, counter display units and information cards are being provided for all scheme members and the feedback so far has been very positive.
