Reynolds Contamination Control has appointed design product engineer Peter Remmert (62) as engineering director. Remmert founded specialist company HPR Solutions nearly 20 years ago and will continue to run the company. However, he will now be sharing his expertise and specialist knowledge with Reynolds as the two companies look to create bespoke solutions for a greater range of customers. Proficient in 3D design and the manufacture of high- and low- volume items from raw materials, his wide-ranging experience also includes fault analysis on laser optical electro mechanical scanning devices, the customising or re-design of equipment to work in harsh environments and extreme temperatures, Ansys CFD, CFX and other simulation tools, Remmert also has extensive experience with the design and build of hydraulic actuators, power tools, cold steel cutting devices, robotic arms and attachments for ultra-deep sea remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to work in a wide range of conditions and power sources. He is also highly experienced with Geomagic – the professional engineering software brand of 3D Systems. The company’s products focus on computer aided design with the emphasis on 3D scanning. Remmert’s client list includes recent contracts successfully completed for Laser Wire Solutions, Evoqua Water Technologies, FPE Seals, a worldwide distributor and manufacturer of polymeric seals and hydraulic cylinder parts, has appointed Steve Ellis as its new managing director. He assumes the role following the recent retirement of Nick Davies after four successful years at FPE. Ellis previously worked for LoneStar Group, a global manufacturer and distributor of high- performance fasteners, sealing products and precision engineered components to the world’s energy markets. He was responsible for group purchasing at LoneStar before moving to Ningbo, China as managing director of LoneStar PHIT and, most recently, Houston, Texas where he was managing director of LoneStar Fasteners and LoneStar Sealing Technologies. Kazerani will be responsible for the company’s global business development function, overseeing an expanded BD team which will spearhead an ambitious growth strategy over the next five years. EnerMech, a specialist in integrated mechanical and electrical services, has recently made several senior BD and sales director appointments as chief executive officer Christian Brown focuses on transforming the business and exploiting growth in new markets. Kazerani has held senior positions at KBR, Petrofac, IHI and most recently at Houston-based Halff TriTex.
