Micron Eagle comments that the deal with the Danish engineering giant means it is the only Scottish-based service centre and authorised distributor for Danfoss Power Solutions. Danfoss products in this sector include those previously under the Sauer Sundstrand banner. Mark Burnett, business development director at Micron Eagle Hydraulics, says: “We’re excited about this agreement with Danfoss. The partnership is a result of our recognised expertise in Danfoss product lines, our ongoing product training to achieve Premier status and our relationships with clients that trust the Danfoss brand. “As a service centre for these specialist products for more than 25 years, our capability to service and repair products sets us apart from other distributors in the UK power solutions market.” Micron Eagle supplies, services and repairs the majority of hydraulic power transmission equipment solutions such as pumps, motors, valves and ancillary components for the energy, marine, power generation, agriculture and industrial markets. Specialism Established in 1990, Micron Eagle, based at Blackburn, near Aberdeen, continues to build a strong reputation as a comprehensive hydraulic specialist. Component and equipment repair, full overhauls, system fault finding and upgrades, new component and complete system supply and installation as well as filtration and equipment rental all form part of its offering to the market.
