OP, the Italian manufacturer of hydraulic hose and tube processing equipment, has launched Tubomatic V450ES, a horizontal production crimper created to crimp hoses up to 3’’ 6 spirals, industrial hoses up to 16’’ and large flanges (ANSI 150) up to 12’’. The crimper is available in two different versions: one with a crimping force of 660 ton and one with a force of 830 ton. This machine, with a die opening of Ø + 180 mm (7.08’’) and an opening without dies of 560 mm (22.04’’), was designed with a horizontal layout to make it ergonomic and practical to use. Due to this characteristic, operators can lift heavy hoses at a lower height. Tubomatic V450ES is provided with an ES4 colour touch-screen display, which can be either placed on a mobile support or integrated within the structure of the machine. The crimper is equipped with a silent pump, a back-limit switch, a protractor for fittings orientation and, due to its self-lubricating moving components, is a completely grease-free machine. Another useful feature of the crimper 24 HYDRAULICS & PNEUMATICS October 2020 www.hpmag.co.uk HYDRAULICS Hydroscand’s new H24DC lightweight crimping machine – versatile for field performance is the industrial hose crimp calculator system, which comes with all OP’s high- volume crimpers and is particularly useful considering the great variety of non- standard ferrules used on the market. For any kind of ferrule used, the control panel of the machine automatically calculates the ideal crimping diameter, with the input of only minimal data: internal and external hose diameter, hose compression factor and ferrule thickness. A wide variety of accessories is also available, including a PC connection by means of Wi-Fi or LAN, camera, barcode reader, electric pedal, multistep crimping diameters and data-save kit. OP has over 40 years’ experience in the market. www.op-srl.it OP launches the Tubomatic V450ES horizontal production crimper Hannay Reels N600 Series spring rewind dual hose reels are specifically designed for hydraulics, air, water and spray-painting operations. The N600 Series features a declutching arbor and non- sparking ratchet assembly to provide the ultimate in safety and durability. Constant tension and a full flow swivel joint are available upon request. All Hannay reels are built from high-quality materials with a sturdy construction that ensure long-lasting performance and minimal maintenance. ww.hannay.com Hannay N600 Series dual hose reels designed for a variety of operations The new lightweight H24DC from Hydroscand is robust, easy to use, accurate and reliable, and is claimed by the company to be the lightest portable crimping machine on the market. Its quick tool-change feature has a crimping range of 10-61mm, a crimping force of 140 metric tonnes and it can accommodate hose up to 1 1 ⁄ 2 inch diameter. Weighing just 47kg it is 44% lighter than its predecessor, the H24DC. Its lighter weight makes it ideally suited to service vans that do not want to carry costly excess weight during multiple service runs – thus saving fuel. The weight saving is gained by using specially treated aluminium during the manufacturing process. This, states Hydroscand, ensures high-quality performance and a long lifespan. The H24DC lightweight is available in two power options – 12 or 24 volts. www.hydroscand.co.uk
