Global filtration specialist Bowman Stor has welcomed Nikolas Luketic as its new business development manager. A multi- lingual sales and marketing professional, Luketic has a wealth of experience in sales and business generation roles for major national and international organisations. With a demonstrable track record of business growth in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and African regions, his knowhow has helped develop key accounts in sectors such as the engineering, power, water, oil & gas, and chemical industries as well as the industrial pump and air compressor market. Luketic’s list of achievements includes introducing new products into the power generation market, increasing the presence of international brands and securing prestigious contracts in a range of industries. He has worked with some of the world’s leading brands in the fields of engineering equipment, water treatment and air compressors etc. Luketic says he is looking forward to helping Bowman in its next stage of development and will be striving to build upon the success of the company’s SEPURA series of oil/water separation units. Bowman Stor’s owner and managing director, Richard Potts, comments: “We are delighted that Nikolas has joined the Bowman team – he has a vast knowledge of the air compressor industry and will play a key part in our ongoing growth strategy.” NEW FACES In a significant appointment for The Fluid Power Centre Group of Companies, Steve Morecroft has been appointed to the position of sales director with encapsulated coil, industrial connector and sensor specialist ATAM (UK) Ltd. Previously Camozzi Automation’s OEM Midlands key account manager, Morecroft brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having worked in various areas of the industry since embarking on a technical apprenticeship straight from school. Morecroft’s new position will see him building upon ATAM’s existing customer partnerships, whilst looking to develop new market opportunities. He will also be responsible for sales across Scandinavia and Benelux. He comments: “ATAM is very strong in the UK connector market, but few current customers appreciate the breadth and capability of our solenoid valve coil range and I will be looking to expand ATAM’s presence in automotive and off highway sectors amongst others. “A key part of my brief will be to communicate the huge financial and productivity benefits that can be achieved through working in close partnership on finely tuned solutions. We will be encouraging customers to look beyond off the shelf products and present us with application challenges that will allow us to demonstrate our capabilities.” Morecroft continues: “A recent example of how we are able to provide a more efficient solution came through a connector order where we were able to put customer branding and part numbers directly onto components before delivery, rather than the customer having to undertake this as a time consuming, additional expense. Outside of work Morecroft has had several brushes with fame, on one occasion getting to the final of the BBC game show Weakest Link and in his younger days as a club DJ. New sales director for ATAM UK Camozzi Automation Ltd has appointed a new OEM key account manager to cover the Midlands region. Andy Renshaw joins the industrial automation specialist with over 25 years’ experience working with suppliers in associated fields. Renshaw’s new role sees him providing support in an area of the UK with a wealth of manufacturing and automotive customers. He comments: “In the short time I’ve been with Camozzi I’ve been very impressed with the breadth of their product range and I’m looking forward to serving new and existing customers.” When he is not at work, Renshaw is a keen motorcyclist and is heavily involved with the Institute of Advanced Motorists’ Motorcycle Section, as well as being a Blood Bikes volunteer. He also enjoys walking his dogs over Cannock Chase, which lies close to his Staffordshire home.
