SPOTLIGHT HI-LINE INDUSTRIES, an established and reputable UK manufacturer of high-quality compressed air purification equipment, has announced it is able to offer a cost-effective and proven way of meeting the ongoing demand for replacement compressed air filters. The company says rather than pay for expensive and often low-efficiency OEM filters, an increasing number are turning to Hi-line’s vast range of alternative elements, which frequently provide an ‘upgrade’ on competitor solutions at less cost. Hi-line says it is not only renowned for its proprietary range of high-quality filter housings and energy-efficient elements, but its vast range of alternative elements to ‘upgrade’ and replace competitor products and there is no longer any need to pay a premium for replacement compressed air filters as Hi-line’s alternative range of flow elements can cost circa 60-70% less than those available from compressor manufacturers. When considering there could be four elements on one system, the saving is significant. Hi-line says the alternative elements it produces provide an exact match with the size and connection specifications of the originals and its elements offer at least the performance of the original, although in many cases they actually provide higher performance because the company upgrades the technology. For instance, Hi-line uses pleated filter media rather than wrapped as it offers four times the cross-sectional area of standard elements. t | 01283 533377 e | enquiries@hilineindustries.com FPE SEALS says its knowledgeable team is experienced in sourcing essential parts, needed for equipment in the food and beverage sector. An example of this is with breweries and bottling companies, where the company can provide commonly used seals, all manufactured in Food & Drug Administration (FDA) approved materials. A recent case was for a major company that produces cider and beer. The company was looking for replacement seals for its bottling machine. The machines use a fobbing method, which controls the foaming of the beer and cider as it fills the bottles. As well as u-rings, o-rings and cup seals, the machine uses an umbrella seal on the bottle, which is instrumental in deflecting the liquid as it goes into the bottle and prevents it from frothing. After working closely with the company and finding out more about its needs, FPE Seals decided that the best solution was for its inhouse team to custom-manufacture the replacement seals needed. FPE Seals says these are already proving a success and the customer was impressed with the competitively priced, OEM quality products and quick turnaround. t | 01325 282732 e | sales@fpeseals.com w | www.fpeseals.com SEALING SOLUTIONS FOR BREWERIES CAMOZZI AUTOMATION has announced it has extended its popular range of Industry 4.0 ready Series D valve islands, with the introduction of 2 new sizes; Size 2 (16mm) and Size 5 (10.5mm & 16mm). Size 2 has been designed especially for applications where a compact solution, combined with a high flow rate is required, whilst Size 5 offers a mix of sizes (10.5mm and 16mm) on a single valve island that offers a common multipole or fieldbus connection. Across the range, Series D now offers flow rates from 250Nl/min up to 2000 Nl/min. Series D valve islands are a highly versatile solution, allowing expandable pneumatic and electrical functions in restricted spaces. t | 024 7637 4114 e | askus@camozzi.co.uk w | https://store.camozzi.co.uk INDUSTRY 4.0 READY VALVE ISLANDS All PSL plates are equipped with DN ISO 16 and / or ISO 19 flat face couplings, since both can be mounted in the same seats. The couplings are secured to the plates with highly- resistant elastic rings that allow them to rotate, thus avoiding accidental unscrewing or potential damages to the hydraulic pipes during assembly or usage. All the couplings are available with several connection threads according to customers’ needs and the mobile part is equipped as standard with an integrated decompression system that allows the two half-plates to be connected even in the presence of residual pressure on the male side. t | +39 039 877451 e | info@dnp.it w | www.dnp.it PSL: A NEW MULTI-CONNECTION SYSTEM sales@appliedpumps.co.uk COMPRESSED AIR FILTRATION REQUIREMENTS
