SPOTLIGHT For any company looking to improve the life and energy efficiency of its compressed air system, HI-LINE INDUSTRIES now offers its range of class-leading Vertical Air Receivers from stock to help factories and plants quickly take advantage of these innovative devices. Hi- line says its high-quality painted and galvanised vessels are available immediately at extremely competitive prices. Vertical Air Receivers are a type of pressure vessel that receive air from the compressor and hold it under pressure for future use. Storing compressed air allows the system to average the peaks in compressed air demand over the course of a shift, delivering steady air flow. The air in the tank is even available when the air compressor is not running. Importantly, Hi-line’s Vertical Air Receivers can reduce the load/unload cycles on the system compressor, potentially extending its service life and reducing maintenance/repair. In addition, introducing an air receiver tank markedly improves the energy efficiency of a compressed air system, typically by reducing any wasted compressed air from excessive sump blowdowns and lowering the pressure requirements for the air compressor and air network. All of these benefits contribute to lower total cost of ownership (TCO). The company says four sizes of Hi-line Vertical Air Receiver are in stock to suit virtually any application: 300, 500, 1000 and 2000 litre variants. Immediate shipping or collection is available from the company’s UK headquarters, located in Burton on Trent. t | 01283 533377 e | enquiries@hilineindustries.com w | www.hilineindustries.com NEED AN AIR RECEIVER ON A SHORT LEAD TIME? The PTV1 series is said to be interchangeable with the Parker / Tema T series. It is available in the same sizes as the PTV1 and the performance is the same as well; the only difference is the decompression valve, which allows the connection under residual pressure with one of the two sides. The advantage of these couplings is to have some internal valves designed for a greater flow passage than standard couplings. The female half-coupling is equipped with a locking counter nut in order to prevent accidental disconnections. Moreover, DNP says the Zink-Nickel galvanisation of the surface of these carbon steel couplings guarantees excellent resistance to atmospheric agents. PVC caps and plugs are available as well on request. t | +39 039 877451 e | info@dnp.it w | www.dnp.it PTV1-PTK1 PTV1 COMPRESSED AIR ABAC UK www.abacaircompressors.com FLUID POWER PRIMARY FLUID POWER LIMITED www.primaryfp.co.uk AIRLINE ACCESSORIES INDEQUIP www.indequip.co.uk AIRLINE ACCESSORIES WORTHINGTON CREYSSENSAC www.worthington-creysannac.com FILTERS HY-PRO FILTRATION www.hyprofiltration.com LUBRICANTS BTLS – HAYLEY GROUP www.lubricantsupplies.co.uk H&P WEB LOCATOR www.hpmag.co.uk
