David Newell will drive the social media, marketing and online presence of the business further, while maintaining the key fundamentals Antech already excels in. New finance manager Ashley-James is a self-confessed numbers man. He will be responsible for the company’s business financials, driving profitability and using his experience to oversee the financial health of the business and its continued success. He comments: “I’m really looking forward to working with the team at Antech, understanding the business and helping to grow the company through progression, commitment, and teamwork. 2023 will be a very exciting new chapter for Antech, which I am over the moon to be a part of.” Mike Ling has joined Bonomi (UK) Ltd as the new UK national sales manager for hydraulics. His focus will be to add structure and long-term growth to the business. Ling brings over 30 years’ experience in the hydraulics industry to the company, where he will be working with customers to provide them with a variety of solutions for their hydraulic needs. Ling comments: “I’m excited about joining the Bonomi team. I’m looking forward to bringing my expertise and experience to this new role and helping us grow our business in the UK.” Jason Hill, UK sales director at Bonomi, says: “I’m delighted to welcome Mike to the team. He’ll play a key role in helping us grow our hydraulics business.” Ling will be based at the company’s offices in Nuneaton, Warwickshire but will serve the whole of the UK. In his spare time, Ling is a devoted family man and enjoys the occasional round of golf. Dale Croker, managing director of KSB UK Ltd, has been appointed as the new president of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), following a two-year tenure in the role of vice president. The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s recent Annual General Meeting and follows an extended 4-year term in office by the previous president, Richard Harden of Stuart Turner Ltd. Traditionally, the role has a two-year tenancy, but given the disruption caused by the pandemic, Harden had agreed to stay in the role for a second term by way of both experience and stability. As his successor, Croker has had the benefit of shadowing Harden, while in the office of vice president, and is now well-prepared and fully conversant with all this is required of him as BPMA president. Steve Schofield, director and chief executive of the BPMA, comments: “This is a great accolade and one that reflects the continuing efforts that Dale makes to raise the profile of the industry in general and to tackle the tough issues that it continues to face. The BPMA has enjoyed the support and engagement of some incredibly talented people at its helm over the years, including of course its immediate past President Richard, and we are delighted to now have Dale join that impressive line-up. I look forward to collaborating with him as we continue to drive the association forward.” Antech Hydraulics appoints new finance manager and business development manager 46 HYDRAULICS & PNEUMATICS January/February 2023 www.hpmag.co.uk New UK national sales manager at Bonomi (UK) NEW FACES BPMA welcomes new president Mike Ling.
