Schwer Fittings offer a complete range of reliable and proven stainless steel valves and fittings. With many different types covering a wide range of uses, pressures, temperatures, and mediums. Low pressure valves are core to this range, and, in common with other Schwer Fittings parts, are lasered marked and can be traced back to the material used. Valves are available from ¼” to 2” with some types available to 3”. End connections include BSPP / BSPT / NPT / Flange / weld end. BALL VALVES: A 90° rotation of the spindle moves the ball from the open flow position to closed. A leak-free seal is made by the system pressure holding the floating ball against the rounded seal on the outlet side. • Lever position shows clearly if the valve is open or closed • Full open passage • No readjustment of the sealing is necessary • Seals with floating ball Note: SF ball valves should be either fully open or fully closed, they are not designed to be used as regulating valves. GATE VALVES AND NEEDLE VALVES: Speed and flow can be regulated by SF gate valves (if not depending on pressure difference or viscosity). The coned seal is raised or lowered by the spindle. The higher the spindle, the wider the passage and thus the greater the flow.
