SILICAIR DRYERS The supply of a reliable, clean, very dry and e cient instrument air supply is critical for the general on site operation of any oil, gas or associated energy installation. Silicair Dryers have been supplying instrument air dryer skid packages for over *0 years to all sectors of the oil, gas and energy industry covering both o shore and onshore applications within Europe or to other locations across the World. They are generally incorporated as part of an overall turnkey instrument air installation or are supplied as individual skids, often as part of a replacement or refurbishment programme on exiting installations. In addition, more recent years has seen units supplied to other specific sectors of the industry, such as for major onshore LNG processing and storage centres. In addition, more stringent client requirements havemeant greater concentration on the selection of pressure vessel coding and specific pipework and valve specifications. As most packages are individually designed, these aspects can be taken into consideration at the tendering and engineering design stage to ensure client needs aremet and understood prior tomanufacture. Most of these engineered solutions are supplied on a common skid base normally containing all required pre filters, dryers , after filters and controls and are supplied in either simplex or duplex arrangements with all associated instrumentation. More advanced controls systems now involve either the supply of a local control panel or with the controls for thewhole operation being taken froma client master DCS or ICSS. All of these design options can be considered.
