GRUNDFOS PUMPS says when you need to be able to rely on your end-suction pumps, look no further, as the company is a proven, reliable, innovative name in delivering these solutions. The company says in its 40+ years of delivering these specific pump models, it has introduced many improvements that have enhanced both the product line-up and its application span and this means that today solutions have the answer to water supply, industrial pressure boosting, industrial liquid transfer, HVAC and irrigation solution demands. With an enviable reputation with its Grundfos NB(E), NGK(E), NK(E), NKG(E) ranges that are manufactured in ISO 9001 certified facilities, the range comprises of a comprehensive series of close-coupled (NB/NBE family) and long-coupled (NK/NKE family) pumps that are compliant with EN733 or ISO2858. All are non-self-priming single stage, centrifugal pumps with axial suction port, radial discharge port and horizontal shaft. The handy back pull out design facilitates the removal of the motor, coupling, bearing bracket (NK/NKG) and impeller without disturbing the pump housing or pipework. This simplifies maintenance and enables servicing of even the largest pumps, by a single person with a crane. When you need an end-suction pump that has reliability, flexibility, energy efficiency inbuilt and that can work in a wide range of demanding environments – Grundfos says it has the answers often available on a short leadtime. t | 01525 85 00 00 w | www.grundfos.co.uk e | grundfos-uk@sales.grundfos.com FLIR SYSTEMS has introduced FLIR Thermal Studio, a thermal image analysis and reporting software designed to manage large sets of thermal images and videos. The company says engineered for thermographers who use FLIR thermal handheld cameras, optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras, and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) with thermal cameras, FLIR Thermal Studio’s advanced processing capabilities and automation are designed to streamline workflow and increase productivity. The company says FLIR Thermal Studio offers new measurement functions, advanced formula capability, and custom analysis templates for professional thermographers and unlike comparable software that requires users to process images individually, this innovative program allows tuning of entire batches of thermal photos or videos with a few clicks. FLIR Thermal Studio can be downloaded as a free trial. Bob Evans of RW Evans Welding Services has described the pairing as a ‘game changer’ for his business because it enables him to use MIG welding instead of MMA (manual metal arc) welding for many fabrications, so he can improve his productivity and profit margins while still achieving high-quality welds. Bob Evans has 40 years’ experience in welding and he also carries out inspections, and provides welding training. t | 0800 389 3152 e | info@esab.co.uk w | www.esab.com Game changer for welding company £3M achieved in new sales THORITE, one of the UK’s largest distributor of pneumatic products and process systems, has announced it has now been shortlisted for two categories in the 2019 Motion Control Industry Awards.
