Julian Goulding, formerly of BorgWarner and Delphi, has become the company’s new UK Sales Manager. He has been joined by Key Account Manager Riccardo Sorano, who was previously Business Development Manager at Hella Guttman Solutions. Meanwhile, Steve Fox has been appointed to the new role of Technical and Training Manager. There are also a pair of new Business Development Managers. Jon Davis, who has joined from Snap-on, covers the north, while Steve Brett, previously with GYS, covers the south. Lastly, Alex McGee has become Hotline and Helpdesk Manager, following a number of roles in the franchised dealer sector. HELLA’s Sales and Marketing Director Ian Boyle commented: “We’ve enhanced the Hella Gutmann team as the time is right to grasp a real opportunity to adapt to what the market needs right now, and perhaps more importantly, what it needs moving forward. Although this focus is primarily within the Hella Gutmann team, the internal changes we’re making also affects the aftermarket parts division of the business too.” New Scotland/NI Manager for Ring Ring has named Martin Barron as its new Area Sales Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Martin began his career as a garage apprentice, later becoming a Centre Manager before veering towards the energy industry. Commenting on his return to the automotive sector, he observed: “As I still have many contacts from the motor trade, I heard through word-of-mouth that the position at Ring was available. My reason for taking the job was twofold; First, I had a good knowledge of the products Ring offered from my career in the aftermarket; Second I was looking to take on a new challenge, and this role suited me perfectly.” Martin added: “Ring holds a lot of credibility in the industry.
