Of the 67 new employees, 19 were taken on just in May and June. 11 of the 19 newest recruits joined the head office team in Ulm. Six additional employees are now employed at the Saarland oil factory. Two have started work at LIQUI MOLY Iberia, which, has its headquarters in Portugal. Two sales people were also recruited for the Dutch sales team. 890 people now work for the company, with the 67 new team members making up an 8% increase. LIQUI MOLY plans to continue its growth strategy. "We are reliant on well-educated people,” said LIQUI MOLY CEO Ernst Prost. “It is only logical, in my view, that the most important number for a company to increase is the amount of personnel." TMD Friction names new CEO David Baines has been appointed as TMD Friction’s new Group CEO and President. He replaces Tetsuya Kumakawa, who has left TMD Friction in order to take on a senior management position inside its parent company, the Nisshinbo Group. David Baines has more than 30 years’ experience inside TMD Friction across a variety of management roles and disciplines. During the last 15 years of his career with TMD Friction, David held a variety of roles, ranging from regional management to strategic planning and global marketing.
