SEPTEMBER 2019 AFTERMARKET 65 EYEBROW www.aftermarketonline.net All change at KYB KYB Europe Aftermarket has made a number of changes to its top team, following the appointment of new Vice President Tetsunosuke Nagasawa, joining after being responsible for KYB Russia. Juan Carlos Diez, formerly Director South, now assumes the position of European Sales Director. He has worked at KYB since 2002. Reporting to him will be the new roles of Business Development Director and Key Account Director. These will be taken by Radoslaw Palka, formerly Director East, and Andrew Marpole, formerly Director North, respectively. The former has been with KYB since 1999, and the latter has been with the company since 2003. Finally, Chris Flood, formerly UK Operations Manager, will take the role of European Logistics Manager. Flood has managed the UK warehouse for over 10 years and will now run KYB’s five European warehouses. Commenting on the new structure, Tetsunosuke Nagasawa said: “The new structure will see huge improvements to our customer support and logistics, further enhancing KYB’s reputation in the European Aftermarket.” New name at Primalec Aaron Macfarlane has joined Primalec as Senior Product Manager, AC&R. He has joined from Euro Car Parts where he was Air Conditioning Product Manager. His appointment follows Primalec’s recently announced strategic partnership with Dutch based Unicorn Tools. Aaron said: “I am delighted to join Primalec at such an exciting time as I believe that the recent agreement with Unicorn puts the company in a strong position to grow the business over the coming months. The potential is there and I’m looking forward to the challenge.” Primalec Director Richard Doran added: “We are delighted to welcome Aaron to the team. He has vast experience in the air conditioning sector and I’m sure he will make a great contribution to the future success of the company.” Aaron has been involved in the air conditioning market since joining Vehicle Refrigeration Services in 1990, going on to hold a number of senior positions including Sales Manager and National Accounts Manager of Vehicle Air Conditioning Services, and owning his own company, Auto Air Parts Ltd, before joining Euro Car Parts in 2005. New MD at Auto Windscreens Auto Windscreens has a new Managing Director. James MacBeth has been promoted from his previous role as Operations Director, replacing Rupert Armitage who has stepped down. James joined Auto Windscreens as a Trainee Technician in 1992, ultimately progressing to the role of Operations Director in 2016. Kevin Spencer, CEO of Auto Windscreens’ parent company Marketstudy Group, commented: “James is familiar with every detail of the Auto Windscreens’ operation. With hands- on experience, industry knowledge that is second-to-none, and a desire to embrace new technology, he’s the ideal candidate to take over from Rupert and drive Auto Windscreens into the next chapter.” James added: “Having been on my own journey with Auto Windscreens, this appointment is a culmination of many dedicated years, and I couldn’t be more delighted. The industry continues to captivate me as vehicle technology becomes ever more complex.”
