Michelin Fitting Instructions is now available via www.steigentech-manuals.com The secure digital platform gives direct access to installation instructions for the product they are installing, specified to vehicle type, model and engine. Sérgio Paiva, Product Manager at STEIGENTECH commented: “We are accommodating the changing needs of customers, meeting them where they need us, and delivering the information they need in the most convenient way possible. With the increased use of tablets in independent garages, we developed this tool to ensure mechanics have secure access to the detailed instructions they need to do their work efficiently and effectively.” Authentication To ensure that only genuine MICHELIN products are installed, Michelin Fitting Instructions can be accessed only through a genuine serial number printed in the hologram of certified MICHELIN timing belt products. “After the code is authenticated,” observed Sérgio, “users choose the brand of car that the product will be fitted on, then the model, since the same kit can fit multiple car models, and finally the engine type. This ensures that the correct instructions are retrieved and displayed, in a handy PDF document which can be viewed online or printed out onsite.
