He started his career with the company as an apprentice in 2001, later becoming a Parts Advisor before becoming Parts Manager and then UK Manager. Steven said: “I’m really excited to take this next step with Autoparts UK. I have massive ambition and want to help grow the parts business. I aim to be a vital part of this team and hope that my experience can bring fresh ideas to the table and help all departments moving forward.” Craig McCracken, Group Factor Manager, added: “Steven has always been integral to the growth of our team and business, and we’re confident that he will take this next challenge in his stride and continue to push Autoparts UK onwards and upwards to ensure we are continually meeting our goals.” EAG names new head of sales EAG has appointed Chris Haw as UK sales manager. Chris has worked in the automotive aftermarket for more than 30 years with a range of companies including Autoglym, Brown Brothers and Tetrosyl, before spending the last two decades with Delphi. Commenting on his move to EAG, Chris said: “It’s an exciting opportunity to develop a business, which I have a track record in achieving. EAG boasts renowned brands, such as Brembo, Monroe and Champion, and, most recently, it has become the sole distributor for Suplex in the UK, so discovering new opportunities for these names and others is what appeals to me.” On relationships with distributors, Chris added: “It is important to provide a good service but also work with proactive factors to sell our products, so their businesses grow with excellent support. My background gives me a head-start in understanding what workshops want from factors and tailoring our offer to suit the customers’ needs, making us easy to deal with.
