Dirk joins the business from Johnson Electric International AG, where he spent 10 years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Europe working with Daimler, BMW, VW, ZF, Conti, Brose and Bosch. Previous roles have included European Sales Manager for Fuel Handling at Delphi Automotive. Commenting on his appointment, Dirk said: “Thermal Management Solutions Group is poised to become the go-to supplier for thermal management products in zero-emission vehicles, whilst remaining an industry-leading force in the internal combustion engine market. I’m looking forward to helping advance the Group’s core offering.” Thermal Management Solutions CEO Mark Franckel added: “Dirk will play a significant role in fortifying the group’s position as the industry- leading supplier of products which benefit the next generation of electrified vehicles.” Promotion within ZF Services UK ZF Services UK has promoted Alex Acosta to Partner Manager. He began his career at ZF at the age of 17 as a workshop technician, and progressed through the company from there. Commenting on his new role, Alex said: “I thoroughly look forward to taking on this new challenge and working even more closely with customers to communicate future technologies and how ZF can work alongside them to overcome the challenges of tomorrow.” ZF Head of Commercial Vehicle David Wakeling added: “I’d firstly like to congratulate Alex, as the technical knowledge and expertise that he has developed from his time at ZF’s Centre of Competence in Nottingham makes him the ideal candidate for this role. We wish him well in his new position and look forward to his continued growth within ZF.”
