Decked out in a striking green-on-white colour scheme especially for the unveiling, the kit is aimed at cars and LCVs and was described as providing a much lower environmental impact with a “significant reduction” in emissions. Commenting on the Kit, Brembo Aftermarket CEO Roberto Caravati said: “We have a constant commitment to sustainability. The Greenance Kit Concept makes a further contribution in this direction and to our mission of being a solution provider.” Brembo’s product line-up is now being segmented into Essential, Prime and Beyond, with Greenance sitting in the Beyond category. The kit is scheduled to be available in Q2 2023. Satisfaction On the lubricants front, LIQUI MOLY offered up a display that showed off more than 4,000 motor oils and additives, as well equipment like its Gear Tronic III automatic transmission flushing unit and fuel and intake system cleaning system JetClean Tronic II. Looking to show off its entire range, BORG Automotive brought its remanufactured alternators, starters, turbos, A/C compressors, EGR valves, steering racks, steering pumps, and brake calipers. Its range of turbochargers, launched in 2020, were also seen at an Automechanika show for the first time. The company also wanted to demonstrate its new customer portal, and tell existing clients and potential customers about its new slogan, ‘The most important part is you’. BORG Automotive Commercial Director Ivan Mikkelsen noted: “We are pleased that the circular economy, to which we have been contributing for decades, is becoming an increasingly important topic in the aftermarket.” Commenting on Comline’s return to Frankfurt, Comline General Manager Marketing & Communications Leigh Davies, said: “It’s great to have Automechanika Frankfurt back. The Comline stand reflects the stature of the event and our continued growth since our last outing in 2018. It’s our largest stand ever.” Meanwhile febi had more than 1,500 vehicle parts and unusual product types from its febiPLUS range on display. First Line focused on its Borg & Beck product portfolio at the show, and had housed themselves in a new, bigger stand. First Line Managing Director Dan Joyner said: “Our international sales teams have come together to represent Borg & Beck and our extensive product offering, covering 60 product lines and as many as 40,000 references for the current vehicle parc.” Then, on the lighting front, for those who like action, OSRAM provided live installations of the NIGHT BREAKER H4 LED. which was nominated for the Automechanika Frankfurt Innovation Awards. New products from the LuK, INA and FAG brands were on display at the Schaeffler stand. Highlights included the LuK C0 disconnect clutch repair kit for hybrids, as well as the second-generation INA Thermal Management Module and the Schaeffler E-Axle RepSystem – G. The main focus for MAHLE Aftermarket was the new MAHLE BatteryPRO diagnostics and service solutions for electric vehicles; E-Scan, E-Health and E-Care. However, the company was also promoting its workshop equipment, such as MAHLE Tech PRO Digital ADAS and the latest ACX A/C service unit series and the ATX transmission oil service unit series. It also offered up a taste of its engine parts and filters for conventional and alternative drives. “Our presence at the Automechanika shows impressively how much the pace of our innovation has accelerated,” said Olaf Henning, member of the MAHLE Management Committee and director of the Aftermarket business unit. Solutions ZF Aftermarket made their return to the show with a with a large stand, live roundtable discussions and a training programme. New products on show included Sachs air springs for passenger cars, Wabco air suspension compressors and a TRW brake caliper repair set. The company also launched a new e-mobility module within ZF [pro]Tech. That’s not all though. Holger Hättich, Head of Customers and Strategy at ZF Aftermarket, said: "As a one- stop shop for e-mobility, we are also significantly expanding the product portfolio for electric and hybrid vehicles and are now offering e-fluids for electric and hybrid vehicles for the first time. ZF [pro]Tech partners can also rely on our training, which is an important part of our large-scale know-how transfer to the workshop."
