52 AFTERMARKET MARCH 2023 PRODUCTS ESAB: Renegade inverters ESAB has introduced new inverters for MMA and Live TIG welding and for pulsed TIG welding. The Renegade ES 210i inverters are intended for MMA and Live TIG welding, while the Renegade ET 180iP and ET 210iP inverters are for pulsed TIG welding with high frequency (HF) TIG arc starts. Both units have a built-in active power factor correction (PFC) circuit that allows the machine to work with a poor-quality power supply and on very long extension cables, up to 100 metres. ESAB.com/SparkWeek First Line expands ranges First Line recently added 91 new references, with wheel bearing references covering Ford’s Kuga, Puma and Focus. Steering and suspension parts were made available for the Volkswagen Caddy and for Volvo’s XC60 and XC90. There were also engine mountings for the Mercedes-Benz GLS and M-Class, while the marque also saw a number of air filters made available. There were a range of brake parts released for the Ford Transit Connect, as well as for the Mazda 3, CX-30 and MX-30. Lastly, Borg & Beck’s clutch range gained a number of references for Ford, Volkswagen, Land Rover and Range Rover model. www.firstlineltd.com Klarius: Latest range expansion The latest range expansion from Klarius includes full exhaust systems, as well as catalytic converters and DPFs, with the Hyundai Getz alone getting 26 new parts, including catalytic converters. Other items include full exhaust systems for the Volvo V70, the Volkswagen Sharan, Honda CR-V and the Kia Ceed On the catalytic converter front, there are references for the SEAT Ateca, the Volkswagen Transporter Kombi, the Ford Fiesta and Fusion and the Mini Cooper S. There are also complete DPFs for the SEAT Ibiza and a number of Mercedes models including the C220, C250, E220 and E250. www.klarius.eu SMP Europe: Ignition leads range launched SMP Europe has issued a new ignition leads range, available across its Intermotor, Lucas, Lemark, High Volt and Electrospark brands. The range includes more than 875 references. Manufactured in Poland, most of the sets use 7mm or 8mm full silicone ad copper core cable, although the range also includes 5mm cable sets to cover the Japanese and Korean vehicle parc. www.smpeurope.com Range expansion for BGA BG Automotive has added 24 new references across the timing chains, cooling and steering and suspension categories. Highlights include a pre-lubricated timing chain covering Toyota models including the Hilux and Land Cruiser, while the steering and suspension range expansion includes 21 references for BMW, Audi, VW, Citroen, Peugeot, Toyota, Vauxhall, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes, Renault, Mini and Skoda. Parts in the expansion cover a wide range of vehicles including the Ford Transit, the Jeep Renegade, Fiat Ducato, Fiat 500X and Volkswagen T-Roc. 68 alternators and 45 starters have been added under the Elstock, DRI, TMI, and Lucas brands. The addition also includes a belt-driven starter generator (BSG) which is compatible with 30 Audi hybrid applications. www.borgautomotive.com Starline: Steering and transmission range introduced A new steering and transmission range including drive shafts, CV- joints and boot kits, as well as a selection of 700 bearing and wheel hub kits has been introduced by LKQ Euro Car Parts under the Starline brand. The Starline brand was set up in 1999 and now offers over 35,000 products, covering more than 90% of spare parts for passenger vehicles. https://omnipart.eurocarparts.com BM Catalysts: SCRs prove popular Since being introduced to its range during 2022, BM Catalysts have said their selective catalyst reduction (SCR) references have grown in popularity in line with market forecasts. The company prioritised the introduction of high-demand references, such as small PSA vans. The company launched five initial references to cover 92 fitments.
