The new range includes three collections, LEDriving HL EASY, LEDriving HL BRIGHT and LEDriving HL INTENSE. The HL EASY bulbs have a socket base design and smart reference socket ring so they can be used in both reflector and projector headlights. The LEDriving HL BRIGHT range is OSRAM’s compact LED headlight bulb range, and can be used to replace 15 different ECE equivalent bulb references for conventional high and low beam bulb types. Lastly, the HL INTENSE is OSRAM’s highest performing LED off- road bulb, which the company says offers 350% more brightness. www.osram.com/ledcheck WAI extends alternator and starter motor range WAI recently increased its rotating electrics range with five new references, including four new alternators and one new starter motor. WAI’s latest alternator references cover the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Fiat 500X, Jeep Cherokee, Iveco Daily, Citroen’s C3, C4 and Berlingo, Vauxhall’s Corsa and Combo and Peugeot’s 308, 5008 and Partner. They also feature a colour temperature of up to 5800K, which is intended to reduce fatigue and the risk of eye strain for the driver. The Philips Ultinon Pro9100's new one-piece bulb design is also intended to offer easy installation. The bulbs are compatible with both reflector and projector headlamps and also work with 12V and 24V electrical systems. However, the Ultinon Pro9100 LED retrofit bulbs are non-ECE homologated for public roads, so should be used off-road only.
