Kris Dunlop has been promoted to the position of IT Manager. He has already been with the company for eight years, and his systems have enabled all three Autosupplies branches to align on on product stock, pricing and offers. He said: "Systems are so important for the day-to-day running of a successful motor factor – they make the delivery of good customer service seamless. In recent years, I've been working to support customers with online ordering from us, something which looks set to grow in the coming months and years." Meanwhile, Tom Clarke has been promoted to the role Branch Manager at Leisureways of Rotherham. He joined Autosupplies straight from school, and has been with the company for eight years, working at both Autosupplies in Chesterfield and Butlers Automotive. He said: “We're attracting new people into the industry through being progressive in our approach to customer service and supporting customers with high stock availability. This has been at the forefront of the group's ambitions, and I'm delighted to take it further as we expand throughout Rotherham and the surrounding area." Lastly, Ben Clarke has been promoted as Branch Manager at Barnsley-based Butlers Automotive. He has been with the group for four years, also since leaving school. He observed: “I’m delighted to lead the phenomenal team at Butlers Automotive and continue to serve our customers across both trade and retail. I’ve made a home here and amid my passion for the automotive aftermarket industry I’ll be continuing to advocate for safeguarding the annual MOT, and promoting paint and refinish to all our customers.” David Clarke, Managing Director of the Autosupplies Group, added: “I’m delighted to promote Tom, Ben, and Kris to their new positions as recognition for the hard work they put in every day to help drive the Autosupplies Group forward, and the service they offer our customers. The company’s ongoing success is testament to their dedicated work ethic and it’s great to reward their efforts with these new appointments.” New MD for LIQUI MOLY UK LIQUI MOLY has promoted Debbie Barnes to the role of Managing Director of its UK subsidiary. Previously Regional Sales Manager and National Key Account Manager at LIQUI MOLY UK, Debbie has been with the company for seven years. Commenting on her new role, Debbie observed: “It is a wonderful challenge. I would like to thank everyone for the trust they have placed in me.” Dr. Uli Weller, Managing Director of the parent company, added: “Debbie has extensive knowledge of the UK aftermarket, is very well connected and knows exactly what the market and customers need.” Debbie is taking over from Tim Keller, who is moving to a new role in the company where he will be responsible for South America, as well as Ireland and Northern Ireland.
