Drives & Controls May 2022

Held on 5-7 April 2022 NEC Birmingham Drives & Controls Exhibition 2022 #DrivesExpo – What people are saying about Drives & Controls 2018 was not good for us. Footfall was poor and enquiries suffered as a result. Sowe decided to do 2020 as a ‘last chance saloon’ and then along came Covid-19. Nevertheless we decided to carry forward to 2022 andwe are so pleased that we did. Even thoughwe detected a reluctance bymany customers to avoid amass-gathering Drives & Controls 2022 was an excellent show for us. Footfall was much better that 2018 andwe took a significantly higher number of good quality enquiries. Andy Wylie and the Drives teamput a lot in to the showand the result was very positive. Congratulations Drives & Controls 2022 team. We will return in 2024. Malcolm Greenhill Managing Director Charter Controls The quality of the sales opportunities presented was fantastic with some of the most recognised brands visiting the stand, each one spending a substantial amount of time talking through current or planned projects with the Euchner team. We held a significant number of discussions with customers that we were not already aware of and each of these conversations with a decision-maker with authority to change. To summarise, the Drives & Controls 2022 exhibition was a success for Euchner, the quality of the leads was better than we have experienced previously, the visitors spent more time on the stand discussing actual projects or needs and the people talking with us were in a position to make a difference. I am confident we will be doing it all again in 2024. David Dearden Managing Director Euchner (UK) Ltd. Whilst the foot fall was less than we had hoped, the quality of visitors to our stand was very high. We made some really great contacts and received some very interesting enquiries for our precision gearbox products in particular. To top it all off we received an order from a totally new customer, met for the first time at Drives & Controls, less than two weeks after the exhibition - this has made us sure it was the right decision to participate. We 100% plan to join in 2024. Stephen Brown General Manager SMUK For STOBER the Drives & Controls Show was the perfect event and time to meet new customers and catch up with existing ones – to show and demonstrate our range of Servo Gearunits, Motors and Drive Technologies was Priceless.
