The firm was established on 6th February 1969 in Ratingen, Germany, by three partners Klaus Ries, Klaus Thiel and Karl Ruser with the initials of their surnames forming the company name of RTR. www.rtr-group.com Celebrating 50 years with more in the pipeline International energy consultancy Xodus Group has grown its team in Perth by almost 50% after a batch of new contract wins in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region over the last twelve months. Xodus’ APAC office saw its revenue increase by more than half and has already secured A$1.2m worth of work in the first few weeks of 2019. The strong start to the year had led to the creation of new jobs with the company expecting several more additions over the next few months. As part of the deal, which is worth in excess of £10 million and is expected to be delivered during 2020, the business has also secured an option to provide a similar set of turbines for a yet-to-be-confirmed, potential future vessel. The order follows a similar project that saw Peter Brotherhood supply components for the world’s first FLNG vessel conversion - the Hilli Episeyo - which successfully commenced production offshore Cameroon earlier this year. The Peterborough, UK - based company is rapidly becoming the market leader for these specialist turbines, developing an international reputation for engineering highly-specialised components for this niche oil & gas sector.  www.peterbrotherhood.com Perth workforce strengthened Pentag Gears and Oilfield Equipment, a designer and manufacturer of high quality gearing and machinery, has completed the delivery of its 35th beam pump for Wytch Farm Oil Field in Dorset. This is the largest onshore oilfield in Western Europe, operated by Perenco and was originally founded by British Gas Corporation back in 1980. The average daily oil production of the Wytch Farm Oil Field is more than 13,000 barrels. The Wytch Farm Oil Field comprises three separate oil reservoirs, including the Bridport and Sherwood Jurassic sandstone oil reservoirs and the Frome clay/limestone oil reservoir.
