Building on its extensive track record of developing innovative products that work effectively in extreme environmental conditions, this project is the latest to use Advanced Insulation’s market leading technology ContraFlame MS400. The project has already benefited from the successful application of ContraFlame technology at an earlier stage of the project in 2008. In 2018, Advanced Insulation was awarded an EIC innovation award for their lightweight MS400 panels, which enable a significant amount of weight to be removed from the structure without any reduction in fire protection effectiveness. Andrew Bennion, CEO of Advanced Insulation said, “I am very pleased that we have secured this contract as it is clear acknowledgment of how effective our ContraFlame products are performing in challenging environments.” The scope of the contract awarded to Advanced Insulation includes the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of the ContraFlame products. Product installation to the topside structures is scheduled to commence in Q1 2019. Once constructed, the completed structure will be floated offshore and mated with the concrete gravity structure in time for the first oil in 2022. www.advancedinsulation.com Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) Aberdeen has been awarded a major new contract with BP Trinidad and Tobago LLC, for the provision of emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) services.
