They are designed for oil and gas production; crude transfer, produced water injection, condensate transfer, polymer injection and as a power fluid pump for jet pump artificial lift systems. Typical applications include drill rigs, deck machinery, lifting equipment and grease injection units. The company says designed and manufactured in the UK, all 5,000 variants of the 280 series valve are available with optional ATEX (II 3G TX) and 3.1 material traceability certification. www.webtec.com Based on a proprietary and patented crosslinking system that has been developed specifically for the chemical processing industry, DuPont Kalrez Spectrum 7275 seals are reported to exhibit minimal swelling and improved retention of physical properties when exposed to aggressive chemicals such as concentrated nitric acid, organosilanes, chlorosilanes, pure ethylene oxide, butyraldehyde, amines, vinyl monomers and acrylic monomers. Kalrez 7275 seals are available in the UK from authorised distributor Dichtomatik. Any process plant that uses chemicals as an inherent part of its operations knows the importance of reliable, long-lasting seal technology. With Kalrez 7275, which is a special perfluoroelastomer product, users are said to enjoy excellent compression set resistance and good retention of physical properties after ageing at high temperatures.
